THIS IS A VERY NICE GAME! :D reminds me directly of my childhood xD

Why $3 dollars for this game? why not the entire full game for free?

This is really cool!  I enjoyed trying out this horror game!

(+1)

Played the updated DEMO for my viewers, they really liked the first video. Please keep this up, this is one of the better horror games out there right now.

(+1)

There was a update? what did it contain?

the update for the demo had some updated graphics on a few of the floors and some minor bug fixes, like the moon walk glitch.

Pretty fun little game. I got a fatal error shortly after getting the bacon though. It only happened once, didn't happen again once i reloaded the game, but might want to check that out though. here's the error message:

Thank you, I'll look into it and see if I can fix that.

I appreciate the dev being clear that the demo is free and the full game requires payment.  The aesthetic for this game is quite interesting and appeals to my retro-love sensibilities :)

(+1)

I'm so glad the full game dropped I was super excited to see it release! The demo was fantastic and the full release is even better. Touched up graphics some added cut scenes and new horrors! Looking forward to playing through the rest of this game!

(+2)

this game is.........AWESOME

(+1)

love this game, art is amazing and the puzzels are hard enought to keep you interesring and easy enought to not be frustating. Can't wait for the full game

(+2)

Kota here! I LOVE THIS GAME! It's amazing and I can't wait to see more if you make it!

(+1)

Vinesauce Vinny played this on his stream last Sunday. It's really neat and put me on edge the whole time.

.

Could you make an Android version?

probably not, maybe in the distant future

(+1)

such a cool representation of a gameboy game! This is what a horror game would be on the handheld, super awesome, and had a lot of fun playing!

(+1)

played this game and I now have another reason to hate Mondays XD

I liked the concept and the game felt pretty good, scary at times but interesting :D

a good aesthetic and a smart use of simple mechanics to make a horror game

enjoy!
(+1)

Enjoyed the game! Was a fun little experience and I can't wait to see more! You absolutely nailed the Game Boy  aesthetic. Great game, good job!

Impossible to play in window mode :c

(+1)

I might be able to add that option in the full release. Is there a reason why you would want a window mode?

(+1)

So i can record the game OBS studio dosen't detect the game any other ways

(+1)

ok, makes sense. I'll see what I can do for the next update

(+1)

thx <3 amazing game btw i always wanted something based on those gorfield videos

(+1)

I really enjoyed playing it.
I really want the official version to be released.
[For Korean users, I prepared a play video of Korean subtitles.]
[한국 유저분들을 위해 한국어 자막의 플레이 영상을 준비했습니다.]

I'm OVER JOYED that you made this game! I've been following all the memes and videos, so to see someone took the initiative and make the actual game made me so happy! We're really looking forward to more!

(+1)

This was a fun game! Having to hide from the monster and escape took me a long time though. I feel like if there was more instructions I would have been able to complete the game much faster (If there was instructions, I must have not seen it). Not only that but a trash computer like mine, I am very glad that I was able to run this game! Thanks so much! Keep up the good work! I look forward into seeing how this game turns out!

This was a really cool game. The monster looked really creepy and its presence was amplified with sound. I found it difficult to track which made the experience all the creepier. The retro classic game boy style was great and makes this stand out. I'm glad I got to play this demo because it makes me excited for the full release. Great job mate!

(+1)

Really enjoyed this demo. Is very tense even with the Gameboy aesthetic. Can't wait for more.

World Record Speedrun
Also works as a quick playthrough/guide.

(+2)

honestly i'm glad somebody finally made a demo or a game  of gorefield  i think the concept would make great indie horror game so  great job i really hope to see more from you in the future!

Could I get the lasagna boy sprites for the player?

I wanna make an animation similar to this but I cant make sprites for my life.

(+1)

What program did you use to make this?

game maker studio 2

(+1)

Can you release it on Epic Games?

(+1)

I'm not sure if they accept games made in an engine that isn't unreal. I'd have to look into it. I am thinking about releasing the game on steam, but that's in the future.

(+1)

wow just wow h\ope to see more!

(+1)

can we expect a mac os x/mac os version?

At the moment, probably not.  I'm building the game on windows and it looks like I would need to actually own a mac to be able to build a port.

oh, okay.

(+1)

Defenitively inspired by Lumpy Touch`s short Horror Garfield animations. Nice one

(+1)

Gameplay and feedback / suggestions provided :P Pretty decent, for an alpha demo

(+1)

Enjoyed playing the game may do a part 2

Just curious: What's ETA for the beta?

It's sorta up in the air right now, maybe several months, depending on if there is enough of a demand for a game like this.  Thank you for playing the game, were you able to solve the puzzle and finish the first part?

(1 edit) (+1)(-1)

I didn't try it yet, because I usually try to avoid games until they're at least in pre-beta, but I guess I'm try it and tell you

EDIT: Finished it
